Become Healthy, Wealthy & Fabulous At Any Age!

Every choice or decision you make, no matter how small, is pivotal in your life's direction and will impact every choice made thereafter. Since there is no such thing as an inconsequential or minor decision, how does one know what to do when faced with a lot of options or "challenging" decisions? In a world with so many choices, it is often hard to know what to do. While having a lot of options can be great, it can also lead to confusion.

While many people like to make a "Pro/Con List," I have not found such a list to be helpful. When faced with important decisions, I ask myself the following questions:

In a goal-oriented society where the focus is on milestones and achievements, any sort of loss can be difficult to manage, especially in the workplace. For people who work from 9 AM - 6 PM, plus commute, more of the day is often spent with people at work than with family members. How can you be true to your emotional pain and put your game face on when dealing with loss?

I once worked with a client who returned to the workplace only one (1) week after losing her mother. For weeks, she had a difficult time concentrating, and she would spend countless moments re-winding the tape of the last days spent with her family at the hospital.

In our sessions, she shared that she often sat at her desk and stared at the monitor for what she thought was a moment, only to find that hours had passed. She was glad to be back in a regular routine, and yet, she struggled with being present. She battled with a mixture of feelings: guilt for not being more productive and upset for having to be at work. In the span of weeks, she confessed that although she was at work everyday, she was only able to focus for about half of the day. She felt overwhelmed and devastated. She was not alone. A story such as this is quite common.

Clear, positive intentions create miraculous results. You can change your life, your health, your family and your finances by simply changing your thinking. There is no limit to what you can create when you put your thoughts to work for you. As your inner reality shifts, your outer reality transforms beyond belief, and with it, a new sense of pride, energy and passion for life radiates from within you.

When using affirmations, commit to reading them on a regular basis. You want to make sure that the affirmations you read inspire and excite you. You may even want to rewrite some of the ones listed below, using words that are meaningful to you.

If your mind starts “arguing” with you (so to speak), and you have a hard time believing what you’re affirming, add the word, “allowing” to the sentence. For instance, if the affirmation states, “I have a strong, sleek and healthy body,” but you are extremely overweight and have a hard time saying such a thing to yourself, you can change the affirmation to, “I am allowing myself to have a strong, sleek and healthy body.” Or, perhaps the affirmation says, “I am financially free, and I am grateful to have millions of dollars in the bank,” but you just declared bankruptcy. You can rewrite the affirmation to say, “I am allowing myself to be financially free and accumulate millions of dollars in the bank.”

A healthy, thriving family begins with a healthy, thriving parent. Below are a variety of things you can do to create a healthy, loving family.

Create Loving Partnerships — If you are in a relationship, I encourage you to create joint goals with your partner, in addition to your own personal goals. It is important that you not only support each other in achieving your individual desires but have goals for your relationship as well. Having a common vision will unite the two of you even more and create a stronger bond. You will be growing together and moving in the same direction. Also write down the things you want to do for fun and entertainment as a couple. Enjoy the process and be open-minded when listening to your partner’s ideas and suggestions!

Create Loving Families — This activity is similar to the “Creating Loving Partnerships” exercise. Engage in the same process but as a family rather than as a couple. Create goals with your children and encourage them to develop their own goals as well as family goals.

1. Treat yourself and your life like it matters! There is no other person like you on this planet! Treat yourself with kindness, respect and dignity. Dress like you are worth it. Eat foods that nurture you. Surround yourself with people that love you. Acknowledge all your gifts and talents. Live in a clean, uplifting environment, and surround yourself with things that are beautiful and make you happy. Honor yourself and others. If you want “more” in life, treat the things and people you currently have in your life with respect and demonstrate that you can handle what you have and are ready for “more.”

2. Enjoy the journey. I know it sounds like a cliché, but it is so very true! Depending upon the goal, it can often take weeks, months or even years to complete. Make sure you enjoy yourself everyday. You do not want to put your happiness on hold for “one day.” The only time you have is NOW. Make each and everyday meaningful and worthwhile.

1. Use a schedule. When it comes to scheduling, you have the opportunity to design your life... literally. It is as if you're an artist, and your schedule is your blank canvas. Each week, you get to create the life you want to live. Rather than live by default, you have the opportunity to live the life you have always imagined. It does not mean that it is going to happen overnight because you make a schedule one day. What it does mean, however, is that every day that you put focus upon it, you are working towards your ideal life. Since whatever you focus upon expands, by focusing on creating a better life for yourself, things start falling into place.

2. Surround yourself with a team of people who support you. Be in the presence of people who love and support you, want the best for you, honor your dreams and believe in your potential. It is so important to have people in your life who are like-minded and support you in living your best life and reaching your highest potential. It can make all the difference in the world!

Congratulations on your commitment to living your best life! You are about to embark upon an exciting journey that will result in manifesting your BIG dreams and reaching your highest potential. The life you envision for yourself is right around the corner! When working on your goals, keep the following in mind:

1. Make your goals concrete rather than vague, and make them measurable. For instance, rather than saying, “My intention is to workout.” Instead, write, “I am committing to going to the gym 3 days per week to do 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise per session, and I am also committing to lifting weights 2 days per week, alternating between upper-and-lower body workouts.” Notice the difference? In the second example, you can monitor your progress because you have been specific and detailed. You also know how to plan and schedule your week when it comes to working out.

Success is not an accident! Becoming a better golfer requires you to become a better person. Unlike any other sport, golf mirrors both business and life. You can learn more about who you are as a person by how you are on the golf course. To master golf and become a peak performer, it is important to consider and master the following:

Dream Big, Think Small. Having a vision of what you want to achieve allows you to strategize how to succeed. It also gives you a big reason, “Why.” The stronger the “Why,” the easier the “How.” Once you have established your goal, focus on the small action steps it will take to get you there. These action steps put the odds in your favor of achieving your goal.

People often underestimate the importance of building their personal and professional network, and yet, most people have heard the phrase, “It is not what you know, it is who you know.” Spending time deepening relationships and building a powerful network of people can help you achieve success in all areas of your life.

When it comes to networking, a lot of people focus on traditional networking events, such as Chamber of Commerce meetings, leads groups, et cetera. Such organizations are great, but it is important to remember that you can meet people anywhere – anytime. In addition to concentrating on expanding your network, it is equally important to keep in touch with those you already know and strengthen your current relationships.
